a fertile egg up through hatch. Also helps you understand what the
developing embryo looks like and what to observe at the various stages

approved programs for ACT 48.
Embryology
in the Classroom is a national site developed to support
the new National 4HCCS Embryology curriculum released in 2001. Educators
will find it extremely helpful as a resource for teaching embryology
in the classroom. Phillip J. Clauer also manages this site.

PDF copy of the leaders manual Phillip Clauer developed while at Virginia
Tech. Contains a good bit of useful content material for the teacher.
Virginia
4-H Virtual Farm will bring the farm to the classroom.
Visit a commercial breeding farm and Hatchery and let the youth enjoy
this interactive learning tool. Phillip Clauer helped develop the poultry
section while I was at Virginia Tech.
Incubation
and Embryology is designed by University of Illinois
Extension to provide elementary and high school teachers with knowledge
of the chicken's egg, its importance to man, and its role in reproduction
of the species. Suggestions on how to use classroom incubation and embryonic
development projects to enhance programs in science, language arts,
mathematics, social studies, and art will be offered. Very good information,
nicely presented.

by the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign has some good material
on embryology in the classroom and building your own incubators. Well
